Organic Leaf Litter provides places to hide for vivarium inhabitants. Oak Leaf Litter breaks down very slowly and provides nutrition to the substrate, sustaining healthy populations of microfauna, such as springtails and isopods. These microflora will provide a source of food for many vivarium inhabitants as well as aid in keeping the vivarium clean.

Leaf Litter performs a very important role in a naturalistic vivarium. It provides shelter, visual barriers, and hiding places for the vivariums inhabitants. Leaf litter mimics the role of dead plant matter in the forest.

Awesome business! Very quick to respond to my emails. I had emailed regarding my order and got an email back later that day. The bugs were packaged very nicely, secured in multiple containers and boxes. I received plenty isopods and they were good and alive. Unfortunately the spring tails did not make it, but, I informed him that they did not make it and he shipped out more for free! I didn’t even ask him to do this, I was just informing him they didn’t make it. Got the 2nd box of spring tails and they were perfect and healthy. The tank is smoothly! I will be coming back for more micro fauna in the future.
